About Us
It was in 1970 that we first established Edwards of Sale, in a showroom behind the town hall in Sale. Our focus then was on heating appliances, cookers and stoves and for a short period of time we were known as Edwards & Sons.
Within those four walls and for just over 20 years we built up our reputation for excellent service and customer care. While we enjoyed the white goods aspect of the business, we soon discovered that our real passion was in fires & fireplaces. As we built up the business, and established ourselves as a leading supplier in the local area, we out grew our premises and so in 1992 we moved into a more suitable showroom near the Pelican pub on the other side of Sale. It was bigger, had easy access from the main road and free parking. Since then we have invested heavily to assure our showroom has a good variety of fires and fireplaces and includes all the latest designs. To this day we are still a family run business and continue to maintain the same work ethic we had all those years ago. It’s why the majority of our business comes from recommendations and repeat sales.
