Why Electric?
There are a number of reasons you may want to consider an electric fire over say a gas or solid fuel product. Firstly, you can have a nice ambient flame picture without the need for heat – ideal for spring and summer evenings. A flame effect can be run for as little as 1p for 8 hours use and compared to a gas or solid fuel that could be several pounds for 8 hours use. Secondly they are completely safe if you have children or grandchildren around as they cannot burn themselves on an electric fire. They also provide a nice background heat at the push of a button so convenience is also a factor.
